According to Reuters, May Day has been a violent one in Turkey, Greece and Germany. Police clashed with angry protesters over the current financial status and the govenments response to such. As unemployment has rocketed, citizens in Eurpoean countries have used May Day to demonstrate. So far things have turned violent in Greece, Germany and Turkey. Spain and Portugal have had peaceful protests.
